  1. I agree with that picture in relation to designer rubbish – who wants to be a clone. But sadly, making your own is often the most expensive option – you can buy a jumper for less than £20 even less if it is from a charity shop but make your own and you may need to pay £70 – £100 for wool. The same with dress fabric… ;-( I think it is because the UK no longer has a huge garment industry.
