Take the day off

Hello Dear Reader,

Today we did nothing practical, nothing constructive and just took the day off. I’ve had the tail end of a migraine for three days which has left me feeling nauseous and out of sorts. Plenty of time in the fresh air away from paint and dust has cured me along with good company and a peaceful forest.

I can’t tell you anything about the harp, it was buskerless as we walked by so we missed the performance. I find the forest very soothing and managed to show off the Grotte de diable and the Roche Tremblante which I managed to rock today. We even managed cool drink at a Crêperie and ice cream. I’d call that a very successful day off.

That me, you put your back against the rock and it moves, all 137 tonnes of it. It’s quite the tourist attraction.

I’m sure we’ll get back to work soon enough.

Until tomorrow,

Love Froogs xxxx

  1. So glad you took the day off. I’m so sorry about the migraine, before they discovered my food allergies, I had several each month. They are pretty rare now, but I remember. It’s AWFUL.
Do you have access to imitrex in the UK/France? If it’s congestion related and I catch it early enough, sudafed and Advil will sometimes kick it, otherwise, I NEED imitrex and a nap in a quiet, dark room.
In lieu of that, eucalyptus and peppermint essential oils can help you ride it out as well.
Hope the worst is over and db was appropriately quiet as you suffered.
    Take care.

  2. Smart move to take some time out, sometimes our bodies and minds just tell us – do something else today. You look as if you are really enjoying the ancientness of the forest. xx
