Hello Beautiful

Hello Dear Reader,

I thought I’d show off my beautiful girl today. So proud of her independence, self sufficiency, choices she makes, her ability to support herself, run her own home, live alone, budget, cook healthily, shop thriftily and work in a very male environment of the dockyard and not take and rubbish from the hundreds of blokes she works around. My lovely girl can rock a boiler suit, work boots and a hard hat and still looks this lovely.

Twenty three years have flown by and she gets more precious, kinder, caring and more lovely every day.

Until tomorrow,

Love Froogs/mum xxxxxxx

  1. Pretty girl, and importantly, powerful girl. She looks self assured, and sounds like a person I’d want in my corner when the chips were down. (mixing sports analogies-sorry).

  2. What a beautiful daughter you have, such flawless skin. Love independent and strong women like that – she must get that from her Mum! 🙂

  3. What a beautiful young woman! Gorgeous eyes. It is hard for young people nowadays so it is great she is doing so well, good on her! More power to her for not taking nonsense at work – from anyone I say, male or female!

  4. I definitely get the message that we’re supposed to ignore “the elephant in the room” and not wonder out loud why an attractive young woman would do that to herself.

  5. Your daughter looks absolutely awesome and I only wish I’d had the courage to have a piercing done when I was younger. I have pierced ears and a tattoo but that’s all.

  6. I am sure that even as a teacher you could get away a discreet nose stud. Lots of people with public sector jobs have piercings these days. I would go for it if it’s something you’d like.

  7. I am kind of late to the party but she is beautiful! And what ever happened to ” if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all” ? I think people feel braver to say negative things on the Internet because no one knows who they are and as such don’t have to be accountable. Like you said, it’s her body and she has the right to do whatever she wants with it. If I want to add a 3rd eye in the middle of my forehead it’s my right and I’ll thank you not to make uninvited comments about it! You have raised a fine daughter!
